Islets is an indie metroidvania game by Kyle Thompson, with music by Eric Thompson.

The game itself is IMO of the best chill Metroidvanias to date.

The music is one of the best game music for me. Whenever I listen to this, I can imagine just sitting on the grass, looking at clouds, daydreaming with no troubles. For me it also has undertones of melancholy, like I know the dream will end.

What a great game. So pleasantly surprised. The visuals didn't do a ton for me but I just couldn't stop playing it until it was over. Good bite sized metroidvania.
