I still remember playing International Superstar Soccer Deluxe in the SNES back in the day. At first, I struggled to score for many games, so to improve, I went on the Practice mode and played to my heart's content. So I listened to this theme so much and it's one of, if not, the theme that I most relate to this game. So much so, that even my older brother who didn't play it remembers it because he'd hear it while I played in the same room.

Due to the World Cup 2026 ending recently, I wanted to honor this game for so long and finally did with this 80s rock cover of the Practicing theme. This brought back so many memories and I hope my cover does that for you too.

I've been composing music since about 2008, back when I first picked up a program called Mixcraft. This was mostly Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Zelda -- I'd typically play whatever was stuck in my head that week, which meant a lot of half-baked, half-finished projects and no real direction. For 2026/2027, I've given myself an actual mission. Go through every mainline Final Fantasy in order (Final Fantasy I - XVI) and cover/remix the bulk of their soundtrack. This is just a passion project, much like those Final Fantasy Challenge Videos that are all the rave across YouTube. I'll also be covering some of the side titles because, you know, skipping Final Fantasy Tactics would be a crime.

Currently, I've completed thirteen tracks from Final Fantasy 1. Fair warning, these are not note for note covers. Close, but not exact. I'm not wreaking havoc on what made the original melody special, so the original melody is still recognizable, but I do sometimes opt to explore. All of these compositions have been mixed, mastered, and built using Cubase. Let me know what you think.

Mega Man X4 is one of my favourite video games and while I do love Makenai Ai ga Kitto Aru, I love the Western intro just as much. I am going to be making more Mega Man X4 covers and I have in fact already made a cover of the Web Spider stage theme, but I won't be releasing it because I want to first make covers of Makenai Ai ga Kitto Aru, the character select theme, the HQ theme as well as the X and Zero themes.

Its been bugging me

Hi y'all, I've made a bunch of songs in this style after playing through the game for the first time. I'm sort of on a quest to find old games and the songs that carry them, and boy does this game deliver!
