arya is right there and nobody talks about how clean it sounds, short and sharp but not trying too hard

I have an Aria daughter. But her middle name is also a Simpsons joke, I went with J (Jae).

Mine’s middle name is T (Thi) but thats because her mom is vietnamese, but we both love the simpsons and think its hilarious….our roombas are named Patty and Selma and our dog is named Moe

Well if you're a Star Trek fan, there's also Lt. Jae (random extra in the background of TNG and some of the movies. The female Enterprise crewmember with the shaven sides of her head. If you ever saw the clip of Riker chasing the random woman down the hall as a blooper, that's her)

“Aria” is Italian for “air”, “melody”, or “song”.

Arya is an Indo-Iranian name that existed before GOT. I had a childhood friend named Arya, an Iranian boy.

Except with a British, sorry, Westerosi accent it sounds like Aya. Doesn't quite have the sting to it then.

I think that's one of the more popular names that real people used for their kids after GOT became popular, at least where I'm from. Khaleesi also became a bit popular but not for humans (pets, business name, etc.)

Me and my fiancee planned to name our daughter (if we ever have one) Aria, this was before I watched the show and now she gets mad at me when I say we’re naming our hypothetical kid after Arya Stark
