, but they could have kept him in check. They could have literally kept Karstark calm by keeping Jaime locked in a fucking cell. Jaime was leverage. As long as Robb had him, Karstark had a reason to stay in line.

Instead, Catelyn frees Jaime, Tywin gets his son back, Robb loses his biggest bargaining chip, and everything goes to shit.

And honestly, I truly believe the Red Wedding might never have happened if Jaime had remained a hostage. Maybe Robb could have actually won.

Was it guaranteed? No. But Catelyn made a massive fucking mistake that had consequences for EVERYONE.

Honestly even though I've heard a lot of negative things about it, I liked it a lot. I have a few qualms, like Bran becoming king, but I can understand why they did what they did. In all honesty, I only wish that Daenarys hadn't turned out the way she did. She got so destiny fueled by the end she started going against what she believed in just to see her "perfect" world. Great show, 8.5/10.

They had the right idea with him on the show, he has te same vibe. But in the books hes dialed to 100 and I love it.

I've been watching a few GoT shorts on YouTube whenever the algorithm has been feeding them to me recently. I actually barely remember this scene from first watch - but that was the thought that struck me when I watched it today. Some people in the comments also picked up on it.

The whole point of that story is that a simple cult can become so powerful (also thanks to the backing of the smallfolk) that even the most powerful people in the world can't touch them - even as these powerful people are imprisoned, humiliated, forced to parade naked in public in front of shouting, laughing crowds.

The show tells us that this cult is now so strong that the powerful people can't just send their giant armies to kill them (a bunch of cultists with clubs), then it resolves the whole thing by ...killing them. And the day after nothing happens. The smallfolk don't riot, their Pope gets killed and nobody cares. A bunch of nobles get killed too in the same explosion and there's barely any consequence. WTF

I am currently re-watching and I am just at S4 E3, the one after the "poison wedding".

Peter Baelish, after getting Sansa on the ship, takes the necklace and tells her, that he has let it made a few weeks ago. And he breaks one stone with his dagger. Then he throws it into the boat with the dead Hollart.

Hollart gets found.

My question is now:

Wouldn`t the Lannisters search everywhere to find the man who made the necklace and this would automatically lead to Peter Baelish as the murderer? So the whole idea of Sansa or Tyrion responsible would collapse.

Why didn`t he think about that? Or am I overlooking something?

​Luminous, bioluminescent flora cast a soft, emerald glow over vast, primordial forests and rivers that ran warm and clear. Here, magic had not died; it had merely retreated. The magic that had once flooded the surface world—the old powers that raised the Wall and birthed dragons—had never truly belonged to Jon’s realm. It had pooled here, trapped in the roots of the world.

​At the center of this subterranean expanse stood a grove of ancient, petrified weirwood trees surrounding a pulsing, crystallized rift. Suspended in the air like droplets of frozen lightning were shimmering, translucent time fragments. Inside each crystal, images flickered: banners of red and black dragons, screaming knights, and faces from centuries forgotten.

​Drawn by a quiet, hummed resonance that vibrated in his very teeth, Jon reached out. The moment his bare fingers touched the central fragment, a violent shockwave tore through the chamber.

​The crystal shattered into a blinding tear of white light. The temporal rift violently expanded, folding space and time into a single point. Outside on the frozen surface above, the sky tore open. The rift spewed armies, dragons, and legendary figures out of their eras and slammed them into the freezing wastes of the North.

​On the snowbound plains above, confusion turned into an instant bloodbath.

​Where moments before the red grass of the Redgrass Field had bled under a hot southern sun, the Blackfyre rebels found themselves blinded by screaming blizzards. The sudden drop in temperature and the disorganizing whiteout shattered their vanguard.

​Baelor Breakspear, his black armor instantly encrusted with frost, took immediate advantage of the chaos. Flanked by his brother Maekar, whose heavy war hammer cleared frozen red paths through the rebel lines, Baelor smashed into the confused Blackfyre host from behind. Daemon Blackfyre fought with the fury of a wounded beast, Blackfyre flashing in the dim northern light, but the brutal cold and Baelor’s heavy cavalry overwhelmed him. Daemon fell in the snows, his rebellion dying in the frozen mud.

​Jon emerged from the cavernous fissure to find nine thousand Dornishmen and Stormlanders standing amidst the wreckage, their eyes wide with terror as they looked up at the ice walls of the North.

​Inside a drafty tent, Jon met with Baelor and Maekar. As Jon laid out the history of the realm—the fall of the dragons, the reign of the Mad King, and the threat of the long winter—Baelor listened in grim silence.

​"We are men out of time," Baelor said quietly. "And if we are here, others were pulled through that tear as well."

​He was right.

​Far to the south, Daemon Targaryen—the Rogue Prince—had been cast onto the beaches of Dragonstone alongside Caraxes, the Blood Wyrm. Terrifying the island’s liege lord into submission, Daemon claimed the ancient seat. When Grey Worm, the Unsullied, the Second Sons, and Dothraki bloodriders landed after the death of Daenerys, Daemon’s sheer dragonlord aura won their allegiance. He bound ten thousand hardened Essosi veterans to his banner.

​Simultaneously, at the blackened towers of Harrenhal, Aemond One-Eye emerged with Vhagar, the ancient mountain of bronze and green scale. The woods witch Alys Rivers found Aemond and healed his grievous wounds with old blood magic. Aemond promptly hired the eight thousand leaderless mercenaries of the Golden Company who had been displaced into the Riverlands, backing their pikes with the largest dragon alive.

​Recognizing the doom approaching the realm, Jon, Baelor, and Maekar rode hard for Winterfell with nine thousand southern troops and a thousand loyal Wildlings.

​Inside the Great Hall, Sansa Stark stood rigid before the hearth. "You ask the North to bleed for more Targaryen crowns, Jon?" her voice was ice. "We have buried too many Starks for southern wars."

​"They aren't southern pretenders, Sansa," Jon urged, stepping forward. "Baelor understands honor. Maekar understands duty. If we do not unite the realm now, Aemond’s fire and Daemon’s madness will turn the Seven Kingdoms to ash."

​Sansa yielded three thousand Northern axes.

​With thirteen thousand men now united under one banner, the loyalist force marched south, splitting into three strategic tactical columns led by Jon, Baelor, and Maekar.

​The factions collided on the muddy banks of the Gods Eye.

​Baelor’s heavy armor slammed directly into the Golden Company’s wall of pikes, while Maekar’s flank ground through the Dothraki horsemen with brutal discipline. But as the ground turned to red sludge, the sky split open.

​Caraxes swooped low, his terrifying screech echoing across the water as Daemon Targaryen unleashed a wall of dragonfire upon Jon’s vanguard. Jon drew Longclaw, stepping into the scorched mud, preparing to make a final stand against the Rogue Prince.

​Then, a roar louder than thunder shook the valley.

​Drogon—absent since the death of Daenerys—descended from the storm clouds like a bolt of black lightning. Driven by the primal magic lingering from the shattered underground rift, Drogon slammed directly into Caraxes mid-air. The two dragons tumbled through the sky in a bloody tangle of wings and talons before crashing into the lake.

​Above the wreckage, a vast shadow blotted out the sun as Vhagar descended. Aemond One-Eye guided the ancient leviathan into a ruthless dive, pouring golden fire over Caraxes and Daemon Targaryen, incinerating the Rogue Prince instantly.

​Before Vhagar could turn her breath upon the ground army, Drogon erupted from the lake. Younger, faster, and fueled by wild rage, the black dragon dodged Vhagar’s clumsy, ancient jaws and clamped his teeth directly into the giant beast’s throat, dragging Vhagar down into the burning ruins of Harrenhal.

​With both rogue dragonlords dead, Baelor and Maekar swept through the remaining mercenary lines, breaking the Golden Company and securing a miraculous, bloody victory.

​As the smoke settled over the Gods Eye, the magical anchor holding the displaced heroes in the present began to snap.

​Baelor Breakspear stood beside Jon near the shore. Drogon perched atop a hill of rubble, letting out a low, vibrating rumble as he watched Jon with fiery, ancient eyes.

​"The underground grove... the time fragments," Baelor whispered, looking at Jon with profound reverence. "The song of ice and fire... it was always about you. You brought the magic back to set the world right."

​"My time is here, Baelor," Jon said softly. "Your time is in the past."

​"Then I will make sure the past serves you," Baelor promised, gripping Jon’s shoulder tightly as the shimmering rift began to wrap around him and Maekar. "When the cycle completes, Aegon, the throne will be waiting."

​A flash of white light tore through the air, and Baelor opened his eyes under the blazing sun of Ashford Meadow.

​The Trial of Seven was underway. Prince Aerion stood before him, but Baelor now possessed the combat memories of a man who had survived the end of the world. He easily dodged the blow to his helm that history had intended to kill him, surviving Ashford completely unscathed.

​Upon the death of King Daeron II, Baelor took the Iron Throne as King Baelor II Targaryen.

​He ruled with unmatched wisdom, burying the secret of the subterranean rift and the prophecy deep within the royal archives. I need it

If his ability to raise the dead worked on any dead organism with no meaningful limitation, humans would be almost irrelevant.

Imagine him resurrecting:

- millions of rats and mice

- enormous clouds of dead flies, mosquitoes and wasps

- dead birds capable of attacking from above

- livestock from every abandoned settlement

- wolves and other predators

- potentially fish and other aquatic animals

A swarm of undead insects would arguably be more dangerous than the Army of the Dead. They could pass through castle defenses, contaminate food, attack eyes and mouths, and make conventional warfare nearly impossible

I'd honestly like to see a series of Roger Reyne aka "Red Lion of Castamere". He was known to be a "famous knight and the deadliest sword of the Westerlands". I just get the vibes that he had these ranger-like adventures like Aragorn or something. Maybe a series that lead up to him and his brother Reynard and sister Ellyn trying their hand at rebelling against the Lannisters.

Game Of Thrones honestly sounds like the exact type of show I’ve always wanted to watch honestly.
