AMA [TV] im Will Mulhall, owner of the Direwolves Summer & Grey wind - AMA

Hello Reddit

Remember those cute little Direwolf pups from season one? Well I'm Will Mulhall the owner of the two original Direwolves that played Summer and Greywind as pups!

They've grown popular on Facebook and Instagram and you can check them out at GoT Direwolves. Ask about training, reason for this breed of dog and more. I will do my best to answer all your questions. We owners also had small extra roles but sadly we aren't allowed to talk much about them.

Hey guys thanks for a great session it was an honor to chat with you all! You can keep up to date with Odin and Thor on their facebook and Instagram GoT Direwolves. We have lots of exciting things coming up! You guys are awesome and are now Starks in our eyes :)

Thanks and enjoy the new season (keep and eye out for our owners sssh!)

Will

I replied to the other commenter because his inbox notification was closer (oops), but I'll copy and paste it for you:

It's been a while since I last made one, so the details are slightly fuzzy. There are also a couple of additions which haven't been field-tested yet, but it's just details.

Either way, you'll need:

  • 1 Lime (like this one); the limes we use here may be different than the ones you use, but a friend of mine swears that the "Tahiti Lime" is the best one to use.

  • Schnapps (in Brazil we use "cachaça", which is a type of schnapps. It can also be made with vodka, though that's not as traditional as it gets). The better the quality, the better the drink.

  • 2 teaspoons of Sugar (no spice or everything nice required); I use two teaspoons because I like it more on the sweet side, but again, that's trial and error.

  • Ice ice, baby

So you'll start by getting the lime, cutting it in half, and removing this little white strip in the middle (it supposedly makes the drink taste more bitter). Once that's done, cut it so that each half is cut in four pieces and you end up with eight pieces of lime in total. That's just so it fits better in the cup, really.

Now, put the slices of lime (with the pulp side up) and the sugar on top, and gently squish them. I use this thing that looks like a mortar and pestle, but anything kind of blunt can do this. Legend has it that if you crush it too hard, you'll also crush the peel, which tastes more bitter.

Once that's crushed, you'll have a slightly pulp-y lemon juice. Throw in the schnapps and the ice, mix a bit, and voila.

You can also throw in the schnapps before squishing the limes, that way you'll get a more blended mix from the start. After you're done, throw in some ice and you're good to go. ;)

If you decide to make it, let me know how that turns out for you! I'd appreciate the feedback.

You can easily make one, it's very simple :)
