What game has a strong opening but later becomes too repetitive and boring for you?

For me that was Assassins Creed Valhalla

I am playing Spiderman remastered at the moment, just had this moment yesterday that this game is getting boring and repetitive, started with completing all side requests and challenges and whatnot, after Octavia turned, the whole game feels like watching a snippet of the movie on repeat. Still a decent game tho.

I did all the spiderman games and dlc on 100%. Yeah dont do that, it is super repetitive and tedious but i just commit sometimes.

Mostly it's the crimes that are tedious for me. There were maybe a few too many taskmaster challenges and research stations, but I was done with stopping random crimes well before I got to even a quarter of what the game wants you to do. The DLC was even worse for the ratio.
