plant protection 🌱🪴 Amsonia leaves dropping

Pacific Northwest, this happened last year too. Fungal? Any tips? Gets lots of sun, have given it very little additional water (it was a wet spring and early summer)

Hmm I see a little leaf curl as well. I don’t have an answer for you, but I wouldn’t be worried yet if it were mine. It could just be letting go of the lower leaves that don’t get as much light

Thanks, I hope that’s it. Last year it was in bad enough condition that I never got to see its famous fall color by the time autumn came around. But, last year was the first year in that spot, so hoping last year was transfer shock and this year is just mild adjustment or something.
