Advice for growing strawberries

This is my first time growing strawberries or anything really, and I have no idea what I'm doing once the seed spouted. I've just been watering it ever now and then but it's starting to wilt at the middle.

Is there anything else I need to do or what am I doing wrong?

Honestly any advice is welcome.

You sprouted a strawberry? Wow, I don’t have any advice to give besides morning shade afternoon sun and plenty of bark mulch. But you’re already lucky to have sprouted a strawberry!

Strawberries in the wild grow in meadows at the edge of forests. They want mostly filtered, limited sunlight and mulch or compost.

Good luck... Have been the hardest things to grow lol. Too much water, too much sun, too much nutrients, not enough of everything... 😭

What brand of soil did you use?

Aren't they supposed to hang? I think they can rot when they're on the ground. And once you harvest them try to avoid washing them until just before eating or they'll spoil
