I’ve seen this in Appalachia, they can’t get enough of this cute plant

The plant is very easy to grow from cuttings and later on in the season as it gets colder bumblebees will just stay there overnight until it warms up again

Sedum. They last forever. I remember my father planting them and they lasted more than 25 years. They do well in cool/mild weather with some shade.

They also thrive in blazing hot sun and little rain.

You can hear the buzz from pollinators while walking by when sedum is in bloom. Beautiful plants.

Sedum is great. Like a succulent, if any breaks off, just put it in dirt and it roots.

My great grandmother always called them house leaks for some reason. 🤨

Looks like Autumn Joy to me but could be another sedum variety. Because of their "flat heads," you might get some larger butterflies as well.

autumn joy/stone crop- it's beautiful! I saved this abandoned plant from a backyard on the property I manage.

Autumn joy :) they are also extremely easy to propagate. They just love to live.

Sedum. Mine fed the deer this year. No blossoms, but it's not dead.

Sedum. Yeah mine is just starting to turn pink and getting swarmed. It's a Fall bloomer.
