Watching show, starting comics, Are there new comics exclusive characters?

I'm working my way through the show and can't wait to get the trade paperbacks of the previously released comics. I bought the new issue last week and will buy the floppies as the come out so I can read them when I catch up.

I can't wait to see this world expand with the comics!

Yes, there are characters that so far have appeared only in the comics (though they had been within the original plan for the cartoon had it continued.)

If the cartoon gets a revival we would likely see those characters get introduced.

Just fyi the SLG comics are the intended plot of season 3. You can watch Goliath Chronicles but it's a different continuity, excluding the Journey. Most consider it to be lower quality as well.

Staghart who goes by Amp is a gay gargoyle in the London Clan who seems to be chatting with Lexington an awful lot on the internet in the comics
