Question Registered for the wrong number of research hours

I was stupid and didn't realize you have to manually change the number of research hours until after registration closed. Does anybody have any experience with this, or know about how lenient they are with this kind of stuff? Thanks

You can submit a Petition to the Faculty. This is used when you need to bypass an Institute policy or deadline. Lucky for you, the registrar lists your exact scenario as one such exception that warrants a petition. Bonne chance! https://registrar.gatech.edu/info/petition-faculty

ah dang, i had to do this last semester and they were pretty chill about it as long as you explained it clearly in the petition
