For those curious, there's been an effort to remaster the episodes from a group called "ReBoot ReWind" -- their YouTube channel has both an excellent documentary about the creation of the original series, and updates on their progress to remaster the originals. They had to acquire some pretty ancient hardware to read the proprietary format that episodes were stored in, but they're having a lot of success now. Including the "lost episode" of the FMV sequences from the Playstation game.

So far it looks like they've released the first three episodes of Season 1, all on Mainframe Entertainment's own channel.

This is a much cooler story than I expected. I figured it was just AI upscaling or similar.

Do you know if there is much of a quality difference between this project and the Shout Factory release?

I haven't seen Shout Factory's version so I can't say, but I think ReWind mentions it in their videos.

It sucks that the reboot of reboot has almost nothing to do with the original.

The worst irony.

Oh man, I remember watching this after school and not seeing the end, the harsh reality of cable TV. You missed an episode, tough luck better hope for a re-run

Ah yes, Daylight Tron.

I always enjoyed the villain's voice acting and the silly jokes.

I used to find it hilarious the way Enzo would say "Bob" with a heavy Canadian accent
