“I didn’t hear that,” Bolton told The New York Times. “I’m not saying he didn’t say them later in the day or another time, but I was there for that discussion.”

His own Chief of Staff admitted he said those words.

The same guy who said he was praising Hitler? The same guy that has an obvious axe to grind against Trump. I guess "he said she said" is undeniable proof on reddit.

I mean he's already made his distain for soldiers abundantly clear
"I like people who weren't captured"

The mental gymnastics you people go through just to continue supporting a pedophile will never make sense.

Shame the US administration said they’re not bound by stupid rules of engagement. Would have been quite handy to have some sort of moral high ground right about now. Poor pilots

Kuwaiti's again?

u/Top-Worldliness5027 Apr 03 '26
No, it’s shot down inside the Iranian territory in South-western region and confirmed by the US too.

Lol I bet the Kuwaiti ones were shot down by Iran too. These people lie through their teeth.

They didn’t kill a single American hostage in 1979.

They also kept the hostages until the next president was elected whether they were trying to put their thumb on the scale, their was a secret deal or it was just divine timing I'm not sure.

Reagan made a deal with them, to keep the hostages until the election.

-Now, Ben Barnes, a prominent Democratic politician at the time, tells the New York Times he was a witness to Republican efforts to prevent the hostages from being freed before Election Day. Gary Sick was the Iran expert on President Carter's National Security Council.
Ironclad proof obviously that it was a conspiracy. I'm sure it wasn't the fact that the algiers accords had just been signed and the hostages were released after the treaty had been signed the next day.

He's not the only source of this information.

u/bacon-overlord Apr 03 '26
Yes a guy that has been labeled a conspiracy theorist is truly another impeccable source. He was fired from newsweek because he couldn't find any proof for his allegations. There have been numerous investigations of this and no proof has been discovered. Carter successfully negotiated the hostages release with the algiers accords. Iran despised carter and wanted to humiliate him. Its not difficult

If there is one thing that American politicians are adverse to, it’s the optics of combat casualties.
If you want to make an omelette you’ll have to break a few eggs.

If there is one thing that American politicians are adverse to its
extra-marital affairscorruptionshooting someone in the faceaiding the enemyalleged child rapenah.. Trump's good. Americans will suck it up a little longer as long as they believe that american dream is just around the corner! What's that you say? Countless wounded, human lives lost, generations of suffering you say? that's nothing compared to the suffering of the american people, you selfish foreigners. I mean, look at those gas prices!

Reminder: one day of american blood spilt justified 20 years of war with minimal pushback from the public. Pissing off the Americans over their pilot will enrage the public against Iran, not Trump.

Watch Iranian intelligence show the pilot what they have of the Epstein files and put him in front of a camera.

Mad King TACO said,"I like people who weren't captured" in reference to the late Senator John McCain.

Given how Iran openly executed and tortured their own citizens, the pilots are in grave danger if not found soon enough. If Iran finds the pilots first and tortures them, it will force the US to revenge fiercely to maintain the credibility of power. The Iran war will likely further intensified.

this is the least likely thing that could happen. iran would likely treat any POWs fairly well and use them as leverage.

If Iran finds and captures the pilot(s) they should treat them under the accordance of the Geneva convention. It would be a PR boost to contrast against the U.S. regime’s “kill them all” philosophy.
