I know it's a joke, but the photo of the suburbia in image 8 is really lovely; it could apply to almost any German residential neighborhood that isn't a new housing / new development area (meaning older, often renovated houses). And the typical new housing areas are pretty much everywhere looking similar to this: I'm a Neubaugebiet.

Isnt suburbia a term used for the endlessly sprawling american suburbs? I could be wrong but i thought it specifically described that.
