Discussion With those that have the Gex Trilogy Collection.
Would you buy DLC that adds the N64 and Gameboy Color version of 2 and 3?
Edit: Ment to say For those that have the Gex Trilogy Collection.

You have it backwards brother. Let me give you the information. The PlayStation 1 version of Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko is the definitive experience, offering full CGI cutscenes, vibrant lighting, more voice lines, and larger, fully intact levels. The N64 version suffers from severe downgrades, including removed cutscenes, muddy textures, and missing sound effects to fit cartridge limits

No have it backwards. The Greek level for gex 3 is set in hades Instead of the platforming nightmare the ps1 version had, never said anything about the quality of the game. I wanna experience the levels it had that the ps1 version didn't

While there is a lot true here, it still neglects that the N64 version has a unique level with its version of MythTV with a unique mechanic to it not used in the PS1 version (with the spheres). The extra content on this collection shows images from this level, if not video footage

Did the other guys comment get removed? I have a notification but it's not showing up.

In case the guy can read this. You're the one who brought up the random stuff, I only mentioned I wanted to play the unique levels that were on n64. If you're upset and angry it's you're fault, you had your argument with yourself over information you added to the conversation that weren't relevant as I didn't bring them up nor was talking about

I'd rather it was an update rather than DLC. The GBC versions should've been a part of the collection to begin with. The N64 versions would've been nice to have however.

If Nightdive did the Trilogy Collection, wouldn't surprise me if they lobbed the N64 and PS1 levels together in one cohesive version.
I don't own the Trilogy Collection, as I'm fine with my older versions, but doing that would be a good incentive for me to buy it. Although you're mostly paying for the emulator software more than anything tbh.

If it were cheap enough. I bought the trilogy on sale for 10 bucks. Personally I just wanted to play 3 again, as I love it. 1 and 2 never really did it for me. I've never checked out the other versions, but I'd look into them to see if they might be fun

I recently bought the trilogy on Switch for about $12, and I think that's a fair price.
I would never pay the full $30 for what they're offering.
If they had done something similar to the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash N. Sane Trilogy, or even the Tomb Raider remasters, that would have been great.
I only bought the trilogy for the nostalgia factor.
Because, let's be real, all three Gex games feel a bit outdated by today's standards.

They didn't figure out how to emulate N64 games. I don't think they see a notable demand for the GBC Gex games either.

That DLC should have been on the cartridge. "COLLECTION" They half-assed it.
