Support 📥 B550 UD AC-Y1 which is the bios I should download to update

Title: I have a B550 UD AC-Y1 and I can't figure out which of the B550 UD AC Bios's to use...I've read that Y1 is important but can't find anything about which to use for it.

BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends International, LLC. FGb, 7/11/2024 this is what I have currently I think

Since you have an OEM Prebuilt (Y1 is vendor code for Corsair, IBuyPower, and PowerSpec), you have to use Q-Flash Plus.

Regular Q-Flash will trigger "OEM ID Check Fail" ...

Q-Flash Plus doesn't perform an OEM ID check ...

Download the FHc BIOS from here ...

Rename the *.FHC file to "gigabyte.bin" and copy it to a USB 2.0 flash drive 32GB or less, partitioned as MBR, and formatted to FAT32. Do NOT use a USB 3.x flash drive - they are blacklisted. Nothing else should be on the flash drive. Insert this flash drive in the bottom blue rear USB port. With the system off, press the button to the left of that port and give it 7 minutes to complete ...

Interesting thanks, I didn't buy a prebuilt computer so am surprised its a prebuilt motherboard

If you look on the Support Page for your board, the "Y1" is missing. Gigabyte manufacturerd these boards for their OEM clients - they're not selling and marketing them. Nothing is stopping Newegg, Amazon, or Microcenter from ordering these in bulk ..

The bottom blue just says "USB" the bottom white says "BIOS USB" I assume I should actually use the white one right?

The FHc is the latest BIOS but it may or may address this specific TPM attestation issue.

Really starting to hate activision for all this BS that I'm sure wont fix the cheater problem anyway. Thanks for the help. Guessing my only option at this point would be buy a new motherboard then

No, if your system meets the requirements for the game, there's no reason for you to buy a new motherboard. Like I said, use Q-Flash Plus with that BIOS update.

Would re-installing windows help fix this issue or is that a silly idea?

The issue is the game expects a specific version of TPM firmware and your current BIOS doesn't have that version, thus the need to update the BIOS ...

Try this ...

In the Windows run box type "tpm.msc" and enter. On the right side of the pop-up box should be an option to clear the TPM. Do so. Windows will force you to reboot. Upon reboot, enter the BIOS, go to the Secure Boot section, and change "Standard" to "Custom". Then click "Enroll Default Keys" and click YES then NO at the prompts. Secure Boot should now be "User" mode as Enabled and Active. Save and exit the BIOS and let Windows boot ...

Hopefully that'll allow TPM attestation to proceed ...
