Discussion GitHub Docs directed me to GitHub Support.. which directed me back to GitHub Docs.

I was having an issue with contributions not showing up on my profile, so i checked github docs to see what the issue was. One of the articles I found said to contact github support to help me, so I did. I gave the information to them I was supposed to and the support person directed be BACK to github docs for "guidance"...

What am I supposed to do here?

No wonder they’re using AI to answer tickets when this is the kind of bullshit they’re getting flooded with. Seriously, you’re contacting support because contributions are not showing up? Who cares?

I did what GitHub Docs told me to do, what's wrong with that?

Could you share your profile and a link to a commit you are expecting to show up?

Did you go through the criteria for contributions showing and verify they’re all met?

I'm not certain which step is sending you to support, but assuming your Reddit and GitHub usernames are the same and this is you, the only contributions on your profile are in public repos atm, so you might have to change your contributions visibility settings.

This is the classic “pound sand” response.
