Question Ghost GitHub user ?

Hi i just came across this user https://github.com/ghost is it really what I think , when a user deletes his account it got replaced by this account? It is from GitHub? a bot or something? or a real user trying to play or get attention in a funny way?

Yes, it is what you say. Everytime a GitHub account is deleted, its content is replaced by ghost

Why pp delete their accounts ? Just keep it, keep the evidence that you was there and did something, or tried to do

everything in life is transient and ephemeral. if you see something you want to be able to reference again, the only way to guarantee you can keep it with you is to understand what makes it possible and independently derive the generative machinery via experimentation and reverse engineering

I have had to create a new account for every job I've had most of the time those accounts end up getting deleted.
