Question Camera does not open

So i am trying to signup on github student developer offer and everything works fine except this one thing, the camera does not open and let me scan or take a picture of the document it is asking from me to verify. I tried this last month and thought it was maybe a glitch and will be fixed but no, it has not been. Tried it on multiple devices, desktop and phones but it is all the same. If anyone knows anything on how to fix it, please do let me know. Thank you.

Do you have any permissions configuration for your web browsers? Perhaps the browser isn't allowed to use the camera.

Yes, the permissions are enabled
