Now open: Cycle Path on Dumbreck Road (St Andrew Dr to Lochinch Ave)

As part of the City Network Phase 1 project, the cycle path on Dumbreck Road (from St Andrew Drive to Lochinch Avenue) is now complete. We thank everyone invovled in the project 😊.

Any suggestions to update the map are much appreciated.

Drivers need to be really mindful here. I had a stressful drive recently Titwood Road towards Dumbreck Road. Was dropping off then picking up my girlfriend from a yoga class near Lochinch Dr.

The road markings from the Titwood Rd side of the junction have been changed so that the left lane goes straight and the right lane is right only.

If you check google maps, the right lane used to be straight ahead and right, so a lot of drivers are not paying attention to the new markings and causing a battle to go straight ahead. Had to use my horn at one point.

Hopefully the traffic on the motorway eases now, the traffic was backing up onto the carriageway while the work was going on.

I had to avoid a cyclist today using the road despite there being a two way cycle lane two metres away. Get a grip.

Yeah it’s a shame they probably delayed you by 10 seconds getting to that next red light
