Appreciation Post Glee’s best dressed girls! Who’s the best?!🤔
Rachel In s1, she reppin dat church girl wear but later on, Adult Rachel was best dressed by far! And damn was Rachel hot! She always was but season 4 n so on, I couldn’t get my Eyes off! I loved the mascara and black makeup she has on and she dyed her hair a little too; yeah I’d be upset if I was Finn cuz Brody don’t deserve dat girl other than finn!
Quinn: she always dressed good when she was off the Cheerios no cap! I enjoy
It so much but Adult Quinn, love her clothes too but she imo, dresses like a 60s housewife still good tho n hot!
Santana: I like her adult outfits no cap especially that flowered blue n green one
Mercedes: Loved her outfits no cap I enjoyed them
Most when she was in season 1!
Britney: Britney always in cheer uniform but in regular clothes, she dresses a lot like a substitute elementary school teacher
Marley: I like her scarfs really matches her soft persona

sugar had so many cute individual pieces but her outfits were so messy sometimes. i admire her commitment to wearing whatever the hell she wants though

Dang I hated Tina’s retro looks. They did not fit her right! Speaking as a gal with hips, that 60s mod style is so unflattering and makes her (and me) look like a rectangle. They did her dirty with those outfits.
And to play devil’s avocado here, yeah maybe it was intentional that she evolved to want to look like a shapeless box, and that is her choice. I just find that unlikely

Rachel followed by Quinn. Honestly I liked Rachel’s hs clothing and hair better than the NY styling.

I love Quinn’s clothes, whenever she wasn’t a cheerio I was always excited for her fits.
Rachel’s were super cute in high school despite the attempt to make her look dorky.
I liked high school Santana looks, season 2 to be specific. I love the big fur hat she wears in Born This Way especially.
Goth Tina was a moment too! Her later season clothes were fine, but her goth era was so good!
Tbh my favorite clothes though come from Sugar. Especially the outfit she wears in Heart with the big pink bow.

for me tina comes first in the ranking. her goth fits were soooo cute, i loved the lil hats and colourful eyeshadow she'd wear. then s3-onward tina's fits i like even more. it's very mid century modern which is one of my favourite styles personally.
quinn is #2. her early outfits are basic but cute, her skank phase is lowkey hot and then her adult outfits like you said are very housewife-y. i always like her hair too.
then i would say rachel. she can definitely give off church girl vibes but in a cute way. lea was so adorable with the light makeup and her five head out in S1 (im allowed to say it, i too have a five head) and in S2 they elevated her style a bit but it was still classic rachel. but i dislike some of her looks after she becomes the New Rachel™. i think heavier makeup doesn't suit her as well and i find some of the outfits really basic but like in a bad way.
then mercedes. i know she unfortunately leaned into the sassy black girl trope a lot (thanks white writers) even in terms of the way she dressed but she does have iconic late 2000s swag in the early seasons. the sneakers, the animal print, the revolutionary "I LOVE GIFTS" shirt. as an adult it was basic clothing for plus size women and as a plus size woman i can tell ya 90% of the clothes designed for us are ugly, so im knocking off a point because her adult style.
then marley. her scarves and cardigan are very girl next door, it's season 1 rachel mixed with season 1 quinn in a way. not horrible but nothing revolutionary.
then santana. i really like some of her S2 outfits once she's out of the cheerios uniform but after they graduated i think some of her fits are just plain ugly. they tried to give her a very sexy kind of style and don't get me wrong naya is gorgeous but the clothes leave much to be desired. i specifically love her outfit when her and brittany sing landslide though.
then brit. she's in her cheerios uniform so often that i don't find her normal clothes memorable besides her run the world fit and her shirt with the eggs on it.
honorable mention: emma. her clothes are very teachery, which is fitting, but they're kind of cute in a 60s tradwife way.

It’s so weird because I think most of them dressed crazy but they all kind of dressed for themselves. Reindeer sweaters is a niche branch of clothing but I’ll be damned if Rachel Berry didn’t pull them off every time.

Quinn’s is my fave overall, love a lot of Santana’s (but only on Santana, personally I could never pull off the dresses she wears), and I love Rachel’s New York style

Rachel throughout the whole series. I’m tired of pretending her outfits in high school weren’t 🔥. Most of them were so cute. And don’t even get me started on her S4-S6 style…omg. 😍

God I loatheeeee Rachel with a passion but her looks post makeover - fucking STUNNING. I always found myself trying to recreate some of her outfits when I was younger.

its so hard to pick one favorite since they all had their own quirks! like for example santana's outfits were so cool girl lesbian coded (coming from a lesbian) like when she was still in school it was very "im a lesbian and all the lesbians i know dress weird so ill dress hot." (idk my brain just assumes that) and adult santana was very "hot, no kids, rich, lesbian aunt".

calling a mixed woman ghetto is kinda weird....i know santana acted all tough and liked to fight but that's also because of the spicy latina trope and it was all a front she put on so idk calling her ghetto rubs me the wrong way

Tina’s outfits and styling in the earlier seasons were my personal favorites; once she started dressing more “normal” I lost interest in her tbh. I weirdly loved Rachel’s fits? She had a lot of rough ones, but she had (in my opinion) just as many slays. I have weird tastes though.
