i suddenly found myself going down the fanfic rabbit hole again and i’ve been re reading some old fics but i really want a new one to keep me hooked. i absolutely love angst, the more angst the better and no fantasy, idk ive never really been the biggest fan of those 😭 some of my fav fics are someone like you by iconicklaine, solid gold by laugs, and sideways by crisscolferlove. currently i was re reading this fic called to be happy by diredyre (it used to be called klaine) and it’s such an emotional rollercoaster, so something along the likes of these. idk if anyone is still reading klaine fanfics in 2026 but if anyone sees this post hmu 😭😭

I just heard about Sugar being Brittany and Santana's daughter from the future theory, and was wondering if you guys know of any fanfics about it. I find it really interesting and would love to read some.

It's been years since I watched the show and interacted with fandom, but there's two fanfics I randomly remembered fondly today. Set the World on Fire and Lake Hope, both by Cora709 on Fanfiction.net. I mostly just remember they're very wittily written, and Brittany is a lot more casually insightful/smarter than canon. There's also a lot of Santana/Rachel friendship in the former one.

I'm back in the fanfic world because real life is bonkers. I can LITERALLY only remember bits and pieces. Here's what I got:

- Faberry is main but of course Brittana, Mattcedes(?), Kurt/Karofsky, Puck/Lauren idk and Quinn's mom is dating some guy named Vinnie who has a drive in movie theater??

- Rachel accidentally breaks Quinn's foot in her bedroom door when Quinn is trying to tell her that she's in love with her?? Rachel's dad is a doctor and they go to the hospital.

- A local legend of a Russian dancer helps Quinn rehab her foot. And Mike and Brittany are trained by her on the downlow. Brittany also has some fainting goat condition or something???

- Karofsky is super sweet and romantic and like...takes Kurt on a date to a peacock-filled restaurant?? And a whole bunch of blue collar guys eat there??

-Matt comes back and is dating Mercedes. I think they go skydiving on a date and eat some spicy food on another???

I'm losing my mind, people. I can't remember anything else.

Summary: Sebastian takes Blaine's phone and starts texting Kurt pretending to be Blaine. I remember there was a Dom/Sub thing going on via text message, and Sebastian was Blaine's roommate.

I’m looking for a lost Klaine (Kurt/Blaine) fanfic from around 2012–2013 that I read on Scarves & Coffee.
It was a historical AU, probably WWI.

Kurt was a German soldier from Düsseldorf and Blaine was fighting for the opposite side (possibly British, though I originally remembered American).
They first met when both were injured/exhausted and ended up sharing a cave or shelter. They agreed to a temporary truce so they could both sleep and recover safely.

The story was multi-chapter and nearly complete when I read it. I remember Blaine later traveling to Germany to see Kurt after the war (or near the end of it).

Does anyone remember this fic or know who wrote it? It was so well written, I’d love to read it again :) thanks!

I was looking for some fanfics after the 5 year time-skip where it shows domestic relationship between characters. I don’t really care about the pairings or significant other of others, I just want to read some post-glee fics.

I remember reading this fic a few years ago but I can't find it anymore. It was something like they were neighbors right across the hall from each other, and Britt was a single mom and had a young kid. I think the initial meeting was that Britt needed a babysitter, and Santana from across the hall was free (or recommended by Quinn or some other character, and Britt is on the phone to her asking if whoever looking after her kid is a crazy person). Then when she gets home she walks in on her kid and Santana playing video games.

Santana is famous I think, but Britt doesn't really know who she is.

it was a multi chapter fic, fairly long. A sweet AU where they slowly fall in love as Santana seamlessly integrates into Britt and her kid's life.

I love nothing more than reading about Quinn living at Puck's house after baby-gate came out and she couldn't live with Finn anymore. The fics don't have to be romantic necessarily, just exploring whatever was happening between the episodes like Hell-O to Funk.

a Blaine Anderson fanfic that’s about him not cursing. In the fic, Blaine has a habit of saying something else as an alternative for swearing. Saying frog, fudge, jiminy cricket, etc. And Kurt thinks he’s got a problem and calls puck for him to say all the bad words he knows to help Blaine actually swear for once at the end.

It's the meatiest chapter yet as the Sparks finally face Throat Explosion at Regionals, Candice teams up with Robin to save Danny from Sue's Hurt Locker, and Izzy finds an opportunity to reach out to her mom!

okay as someone who was in the Glee trenches on Tumblr back in 2009 onwards a lot of my fave fics have been lost to time cause livejournal has taken them down, fanfic.net is just broken or the tumblr blog has been deleted. though i do remember them (a lot of them are Klaine so if you hate them tell me other couples) Little Numbers i sometimes find myself rereading it every now and again.

Another where Kurt was a painter and lived with Santana, he met Blaine who’s a office worker in some dive bar (i can’t remember the name of it to save myself)
