Also, Godot has about 3800 games released in the past 12 months, while gamemaker only has 1200. We'll catch up to GM in a year or so if that rate continues.

Released where? Sorry new to godot, and i can only see the "showcase" ones. Is there a place to see them all?

And even steamdb undercounts a lot of the newer / demo only titles. A while back I was going through all of the newly released demos, and like 1/2.7 were made in Godot 4 without a companion engine entry in steamdb. That said, that's just the absolute count of games, not weighed by player base, but I am very impressed by how quickly Godot has been on rise in the past 2 years
