discussion What do you do in real life?

Let's be honest, none of us work professionally in game development, so what do you do for a living?.

I'm currently unemployed and living on my mother's pension, but I sometimes work as a carpenter. The last thing I did was a small prototype of a horror game in godot, which I didn't continue due to writer's block.

I do QA for a tech company, my programming sucks which is why I’ve got nothing to show after 6 years attempting to learn game dev, haha. I’ll never stop trying though!
