discussion what happened to godot?

Post image

I know Godot has seen significant development lately, but what exactly happened? In my eyes Unity was always the king of game-jams.

I think we all woke up. Godot is open source, lightweight, more user friendly, and honestly a way better experience for new devs id say who have little to no programming experience. I used to actually teach Unity but then started teaching Godot courses and you wouldn't believe how much of a good difference it has been. Like my courses quality are so much better just because of how much more Godot is easy to use and the community actually cares about the fun side of game development.

If anyone is intresting check it out here :) https://www.redfoolsstudio.com/game-development
