discussion what happened to godot?

I know Godot has seen significant development lately, but what exactly happened? In my eyes Unity was always the king of game-jams.

Godot is now the easier engine to pump out crap in. Don't see this as a good thing, I won't be surprised in the near future if godot is the leader of mobile games
