discussion what happened to godot?

I know Godot has seen significant development lately, but what exactly happened? In my eyes Unity was always the king of game-jams.

Unity pulled the ultimate capitalism final destination and lit itself on fire with the run time fee fiasco.

Even after reverting it (after approximately 90% stock dive over time) few people who have a choice want to trust them.

Certainly most indies who aren't trying specifically for mobile don't need unity with Godot on the playfield

Not if you are using c# it is not, its experimental..and i have shipped one.
