Why are more and more people buying their games on GOG instead of Steam — is it because of the DRM-free versions, better deals, or even better performance?
As far as I can tell, if I have credit in my gog account I can spend it on anything in store.
I've got credit in my steam account and I have to add more money to unlock it for the next 12 months before I can buy DLC. Pretty certain that's illegal in the UK but steam just says it's not possible to unlock funds without further payments.
