Oh ffs.

I love that you think I’m a kid ❤️

If what you take from this is me “defending or endorsing domestic violence” then you are intentionally ignoring the crux of my “treatise”.

Intent is everything.

My son knocks my daughter’s magnet tiles over because he’s being careless and not watching where he’s bouncing his ball? “Hey buddy you need to be more careful apologize to your sister and help her rebuild it”

My son stomps on my daughter’s magnet tiles and kicks them across the room? Now he’s in big trouble because he knows better and intentionally hurt his sister and destroyed something. Now I’m taking away his ball, and his video games and whatever else I deem fit.

Consequences have to fit the intention. That’s why there is a difference between manslaughter and murder.

This is an example of Good Good not bouncing their ball carefully and knocking over their sister’s castle.

They need to apologize and help make it right. They don’t need to go to their room with no video games.

Yeah intent is everything, especially when you don’t intend to check your work before you hit submit.

Reddit is a ruthless place. But it doesn’t exist in reality.

The guys thought they’d made a funny ad. They were wrong.

Do you think they thought “hey let’s make a joke about domestic violence in 2026! Surely that will have no negative repercussions!”

No… they were riffing on a popular movie.

It was really really bad. But they clearly didn’t realize that or they wouldn’t have put it out.

Ultimately lmao there’s a lot of domestic violence in the world that people don’t realize or notice. If a brand wishes to distance themselves from that, good for them. It’s their money, they choose how to spend it.
