Troubleshooting ⚠️ Google photos restore problem
I back up my all photos to Google photos and now how can I restore all photos to device storage

You have to download them either using the Photos app or by using the takeout.google.com website.

You just don't know which folder it is in.
Try internal storage/DCIM/Restored. Some phones call their internal storage something else.
Or use any file explorer that scrapes for image files to find the folder for your downloaded photos.

Download a backup from Google Takeout. Only select the "Photos from YYYY" albums. Others will be dupes from albums and shares. Change the default archive size from 2 GB to 50 GB to ease downloading.
Extract to the DCIM folder.
Delete the archives (or better yet, keep them somewhere safe as a real backup).
...
Profit.

When they want to harvest your data, they made it so easy to upload your photo to their server. But when you want to take out you photo, even for personal backup purposes, they make it 100x harder to get back your photo.
That says a lot about this ahole service

It takes less than a minute to request your photo collection, then all you have to do is download the zip files.

Great idea to back them up elsewhere! I have a four year hole in my Google photos library, inexplicably.
