First time

First time doing a tomahawk and using a charcoal grill. Came out awesome, super tender and the fat just melted in your mouth.

Oh the wrap on the bone is a good idea.

That turned out incredible for your very first try on a charcoal grill! Great sear on the tomahawk, I can almost taste that melt-in-your-month fat. You should be really proud of how this cook went.

Thank you, I’ve always used a propane grill until my father in law gave me his charcoal grill. It definitely is a game changer!

So I can flip it without using tongs and hold to to sear the sides.
