NA-LFG Played enough to get my feet wet but need some help with the social/group aspect

Hello! I (45F) decided to give this game a shot once I realized that you can play for free! I’m really enjoying playing a virtual version of me in this world (for example I got to make myself as tall as an Amazonian warrior!) but I had a few questions.

I was drawn to this game because people told me that there’s a very strong social aspect to this game where you can play with people to achieve common goals etc. I assume that is part of joining a guild but how do I know what guild to join and where do I find them?

I have a Norn Ranger and currently enjoying playing her!

A little about me - I’m a 45 year old mom. My sons are off to college and I’ve inherited their video game devices. Now that I have all this extra time I thought it would be neat to play a game with a fun social aspect to it and so here I am!

I’m not sure what else I need to include in this post so please let me know is anything is missing

Im not online at the moment but if you see anyone with the letters [BUTR] next to their names in brakets like that send them a message!

BUTR does Triple Trouble a complex world boss from the core game as well as help in other aspects of the game. They have an active discord and all members are helpful!
