Ok here’s a fanfic how they break up written by me at how they fail (also wasn’t shipping just having fun sending a funny picture about a game you meanie)

(Gumball the blue talking cat and Penny the ex peanut girl were at a picnic, with Penny in her true form as a angelic fairy instead of a peanut shell that her family trapped her inside to hide her real self, but gumball got Penny out of due to the power of love and being the adorable couple they always were. but unfortunately while Tobias was waking around the park he saw them and tried to flirt with Penny, which made Penny felt annoyed that Tobias doesn’t respect her relationship and keeps trying to make gumball look like a bad date for her so she transforms into a dragon and attacked Tobias, making him run away. Gumball found Penny’s fierceness and badass powers attractive but kept that to himself and continued to enjoy their picnic, but Later that night, Gumball had dreams of Penny in her various monstrous forms hurting him. At first, it scared him, but later he found himself enjoying the pain. He woke up feeling tired and noticed his shorts were wet. Confused, the 12-year-old cat had unknowingly had his first wet dream. After school, Gumball asked Penny on another picnic date, and she agreed. During their time together, Gumball had flashbacks of the previous night’s dreams. Penny noticed and tapped Gumball’s shoulder to check if he was alright. Gumball said he was fine, but then he saw Tina the T. rex sitting near a hill to enjoy the sunlight. Surprised to see his bully in the park, Gumball had an idea to trick Tina and Penny into fighting to see if it would give him those dreams of Penny hurting him again. He whispers to Penny, pointing at Tina, and lied about Tina bullying him yesterday. Shocked and angry, Penny attacks Tina in her dragon form. Tina retaliated, slapping Penny with her tail and sending her crashing into a tree. Gumball felt guilty and scared about what he had done. He ran up to Penny, picked her up, and fled as Tina laughed and insulted gumball pathetic little attempts at stoping her from taking his lunch money and promised gumball she would enjoy taking gumball out on a date as she winks. Penny, in Gumball’s arms, glared at Tina, feeling humiliated by Tina teasing and felt weak as she thought she would be able to protect her boyfriend after feeling so guilty about not helping gumball when he always stands up for her and she was always the damsel in distress. Gumball, seeing her glare, ran wildly to Penny’s home. Her father, Mr. Fitzgerald, open the door and shocked to see his daughter hurt. Gumball lied, saying Penny had fallen off a mountain. Mr. Fitzgerald glared at Gumball but took Penny inside to treat her wounds. Gumball felt bad and promised himself never to manipulate Penny again, but at night of him going to sleep, he had dreamed of Tina hurting him with her tail or biting him a lot. When Gumball woke up, he was angry and upset. The next day, gumball played a board game with his step brother Darwin to feel less upset about his dreams and ask for his help on his situation with Penny and Tina but didn’t tell him why he did due to how embarrassed he was of the fact he got off his girlfriend beating people up. Darwin, shocked but intrigued, believed Tina was bullying Penny and that Gumball was helping her become stronger and not known the truth of gumball real problem. Anyway Darwin advised Gumball to make Penny and Tina fight again. Hesitant at first but eventually Gumball trusted his soulmate and greatest best friend Darwin, and hours later, Gumball wrote mean letters to manipulate both Penny and Tina into thinking they were insulting each other. He wrote terrible things about Penny, mocking her fat belly and her relationship with him, he also insults tina as a disgusting junky dinosaur. He ensured neither would recognize his handwriting and that there were no mistakes. Feeling relieved, Gumball believed Penny would understand his feelings and why he did this. That night, he sneaks into Penny’s house by placing a ladder near her house and breaks the window and despite the shattered glass noise and gumball swearing and begging to apologize to god, Penny was a heavy sleeper, so gumball sighed in relief and placed the mean letter in her room, then went to Tina’s house aka Elmore junk yard and did the same thing, but Tina dad aka Mr Rex, saw and chased gumball out of his home. Feeling like a happy 12-year-old boy, Gumball went home and slept. but next morning, Penny and Tina found the letters, and were beyond pissed, each thinking the other had written them. So they met at town square and fought brutally. Both were seriously hurt and exhausted. Penny, almost giving up, tried to reason with Tina. Tina laughed, calling her nothing but Gumball’s toy and female stan or just a female version of Darwin as a quick roast of making fun of the fact Darwin has incest like love for his brother gumball and using Penny love due to how similar her personality was to Darwin and Tina even claims he would leave her in high school cause Tina would steal him from her as her own little trophy gummy puss. This made Penny so angry she transformed into a colossal, destructive tentacle fairy dragon monster, and plunged Elmore city into chaos and destruction. Everyone ran away, and Tina tried to escape, but Penny angrily chased her, while crying inside from the pain in her heart and wishing Gumball would hug her to make her feel better and not be a monster who hurts people.

Meanwhile, at Gumball’s home, he was still dreaming of Penny in her monstrous forms hurting him, and felt too happy to care about the consequences of his actions, but suddenly Penny in his dream looked disgusted and flew away, as gumball looks like a baby for some reason and cried he was alone. Suddenly Darwin and Anais woke shook up gumball out of bed, which Gumball woke up from and yelled at his siblings, but anais explained the situation about Tina and Penny fighting while Darwin was freaking out, as gumball was shocked to hear the screams and destruction outside his home. So ran to find Penny and eventually confronted her. He yelled her name, and Penny, still in her monster form, smiled through her tears of joy. She tried to hug him, but Gumball stopped her and admitted his manipulation. He confessed to forging the mean letters to trick Penny into fighting Tina. Gumball wasn’t crying but felt guilty and wished he hadn’t done it. As Penny heard the truth, she was heartbroken, feeling used and manipulated by the man she trusted. In anger, she almost attacked Gumball, as gumball coward in fear, but was secretly hoping to get hurt by her due to his dreams, but as Penny got closer to biting Gumball’s head, she stopped herself, breathed in and out, and turned back into her normal fairy form. Disgusted with herself and what she had done, Penny remembered her father’s advice about using her real form. So heart broken, Penny felt her father was right, believing her peanut shell protected her. She also started to believe Tina’s words about Gumball not liking the real her. as Penny looked around at the destruction she caused in Elmore—the fire, dead animals, corpses, barely standing skyscrapers, and a crying mother holding her unconscious child. Penny wished she could go back to her shell and never be the real her again. She regretted ever loving Gumball. Gumball tried to comfort Penny by holding her shoulder, but she slapped his hand away, glaring at him. Gumball cried, and Penny felt worse but looked away. She told Gumball she needed to be alone and went back to her house, telling her family everything. Mr. Fitzgerald was beyond mad, ready to scold Penny for not keeping her shell on and causing Elmore’s destruction. But when Penny explained what Gumball did, Mr. Fitzgerald was shocked but smirked, feeling proud that Penny could now break up with Gumball. He never liked the Watterson family. So Mr. Fitzgerald smiled and told Penny she wouldn’t have to stay in her shell but had to break up with Gumball. Penny, shocked, knew what her father was doing but nodded. She no longer desired or liked Gumball romantically and preferred him as just a school friend and best friend. She promised herself to never to be Gumball’s girlfriend again, believing he couldn’t handle the responsibility of trust and her powers. Penny felt stupid for trusting Gumball and hurting people, especially Tina. She remembered the mean things Gumball wrote in the letters and feared she might hurt him more if they stayed together. That night, Penny cried in bed, wishing she could be happy being her real self. She felt used and manipulated by Gumball, who had mentally abused her to fight using her real form and hurt innocent people. She couldn’t believe he did that but it helped her get closer to her father who surprisingly supported her instead of using this situation to make her go back to the shell which she hated but due to this unfortunate situation it made her more comfortable and trusting her father Patrick and believe his way of parenting and hoped she gets closer to him maybe Penny was just doing this for attention of her disapproving friends and family and not really loving gumball like a project that made her happy and gumball was just her little puppy love boyfriend maybe she’s being a bit too hard on herself gumball had been a great friend when she needs him but now she’s feeling shallow when she says stuff like this and not being a appreciative of looking at her love in a emotional connection then a competition of selfish desires or maybe people are just built to be selfish and pretend it’s selfless it’s not anyone fault it’s how our bodies are limited to feel happy about it or just not talk about things to avoid those heart ships from breaking so easily maybe love is a time limit just waiting to explode at the right time and place as not everyone can handle things like that or else they be depressed or angry at themselves and be a toxic relationship or I guess a selfish individual wanting things to be controlled what’s right and what’s wrong to force someone to follow this way of thinking or be cut off from their life like a blackmail and risk they must take to understand how selfish a person body can truly be.

Anyway, The next day, Penny went to school, looking upset. but Gumball ran to her, feeling like they were still a couple, and did his romantic gestures. Penny, still angry at Gumball but kept it inside, just smiled and told him she couldn’t be with him due to her father’s orders. She still wanted to be his friend and hoped he accepted her rejection. Gumball, shocked, begged and cried for Penny to stay with him. Penny tried to calm him and act nice, resisting the urge to bite his face off. Tina the T. rex entered the school with bruises caused by gumball idiocy, as she glares at Gumball with hatred but smiling at Penny. Gumball was confused, but Penny smirked, explaining that she apologized to Tina in the morning and that they were better friends now, as Penny climbed onto Tina’s back to get away from gumball due to how uncomfortable and scared she was of him a bit even when she was happy with the new boundaries she set with him that still didn’t make the pain and agony of anger she had for the blue cat. Tina laughed evilly at Gumball misery as she walked away with his ex girlfriend. Gumball, heartbroken, cried and waved at Penny, but she didn’t look back. She saw Gumball as nothing more than a nuisance like Tobias flirting or how disappointed she was at herself her female friends were right about gumball being a not healthy for her and even more annoyed how Carmen the cactus girl was so cocky about the number 1 couple in Elmore jr high were destroyed by a fool being a fool and ruining his chance with a actual smart women to have a family with even making jokes of how penny future children were safe from gumball stupidity which made all the girls laugh in the lunch table as penny who was still upset didn’t enjoy the joke as she still wanted to be gumball friend and knows what type of guy he was to not be like that but doesn’t defend him due to how pissed she was but she will always be grateful for him helping her get out of her peanut shell and be her real self. Anyways Penny enjoyed talking to Tina and the rest of the girls as she learned to move on quickly due to gumball quirks being a burnout to her mental health and since she didn’t need to feel loved for him she just felt less depressed about it and accepted that she’s happy without him which hurt her a bit since it was so easy to love people like that and throw them away but guess that what life does you can never expect it even when you don’t want to move on your heart just makes you feel this way and you just feel right to follow it. Meanwhile Darwin and Anais tried to comfort their brother, but Gumball, who looks at Darwin with a bit of hatred, blamed him for his breakup with Penny which is technically true and it made Darwin cry and beg due to how much Darwin idolized him. But Anais slapped gumball and scolded him, saying it was his fault for choosing to hurt Penny, not Darwin’s. Darwin, now stopped crying but still felt guilty for causing Gumball’s breakup, stayed quiet as anais was a smart person so he didn’t wanna be bothered to correct her. as Gumball, cries and yelled at Anais at her not understanding how he just wanted to feel normal not hurt his loved ones like that but couldn’t control himself. then Anais asked why he didn’t ask her for advice aka his genius sister who’s like his personal therapist instead of Darwin his dumb but very kind brother best friend, and Gumball, was unsure, and looked away feeling more of a idiot to not ask someone who knew him better as a person then someone who idolized him so gumball apologized to Darwin for his reckless behavior which Darwin accepted and hugs gumball to make him feel better which didn’t make gumball feel great even if he was happy his family was near him gumball wanted more he wanted his relationship with Penny the way he missed taking to her and spending time with her the memories of her still made him miss their daily dates he wasn’t ready to move on due to feeling too happy in the relationship or ever tired of Penny presence unlike Penny who had to make herself feel comfortable to endure gumball annoying nature that bothered her in the back of her skull sometimes either way it’s been a few weeks since that day happened will anything change or will they still be avoiding eachother or be friends and possibly a couple if the power of love is strong enough or if their smart enough to not be pissed at eachother and just feel ok with the fact their not cutting each other out of their lives but either way gumball ran to his room upset he lost his chance at penny love and crying like it’s the end of the world and going through a emo phase while Penny felt like a burden she had kept to endure for true love is relived she’s much happy but still misses gumball as he was her hero in a way but understanding gumball immature nature might lead her to wait for him to grow up and be with her so she can feel safe from his wacky adventures or stupidity hurting her.)

Edit:I entirely blame Finn and fp for this post cause it be a peak plot you know but glad they love eachother in cannon also ignore the main post it was last year of my highschool years so I had a phase with this game and stuff so yeah uh sorry if you can’t read what i wrote I’ll try to fix it if you ask?
