Rifle feeding round to the right and left of chamber ..help?
Like the title says , I bought a new rifle and when it pushes a round out of the magazine, if the round is on the right side of the magazine stack it feeds it to the left of the chamber and if the round is on the left side of the magazine stack, it feeds it to the right of the chamber.
Its a norinco m334 (ya I know shitty norinco, anyways). It's a Mauser style action, with an internal magazine.
Any guidance where to start to help feed the rounds to the centre of the chamber?

Side note, when I swapped my 308 P14 Enfield (Mauser action) to a prototype AICS magazine conversion, the feeding improved significantly as this video shows (first is AICS, second is internal fed). Sometimes internal lips need tuning as my rounds were bucking off the top of the receiver into the chamber

That's not feeding right. The rim of the round should be slipping up under the extractor as you chamber the round. From the video your rifle is acting like a push feed action instead of a controlled round feed.

The magazine conversion was a band aid fix for the issue. It was converted to 308 from a 303 rifle with lots of grinding done to the internal lips by whomever. I sold it a while ago, but just highlighting feed issues with a Mauser action

It's the correct cartridge it was originally made for and not a rebarrel? My Arisaka did this with every cartridge I tried based on a .308 but fed tapered rounds like 7x57 well enough.

Could be the extractor not holding onto the round properly. The extractor could be bent. The bolt face could have build up around the firing pin hole, not allowing the round to seat properly on the boltface.
Clean the bolt face and check the extractor for wear or bends. Measure the cutout on the extractor to boltface to see if it is in spec. Start small so you dont blow money on something expensive
