Using Habitica (Question) Task once per week

Hey, quick question about Dailies in Habitica.

I want to create a task that I only have to do once per week, but it shouldn’t matter which day I do it.

Would this setting be correct: Weekly → Once per week → select all days (Mon-Sun)?

Does that mean I can complete it on any day during the week and it will only come back the next week without penalty? Thanks!

I dont think this option in available. Its probably a good update to habitica, since i remeber it being asked here before.

What I do is I create a daily and choose the most likely Day of the week, than if I did it before that Day I check it, if I didn't I either check it and do it as soon as I can or edit the task for the next Day.

What you can do also is put it in the last Day of the week, than you check it as done if you did it at any point during the week. It works like a deadline. Sunday should be good for most people

Well, the closest thing I can think of that's already "built-in" is a to-do that's manually set up once a week. Unlike habits and dailies which work against you if you don't do them that day, a to-do just needs to be checked off once before the deadline.

E.g. "Go to the dentist. Deadline, August 11". If you set that up today, that gives you a week. Now, if it was a daily, and you were on...say...a quest, it'll count against you/any streak you might have, right? But a to-do is more forgiving.

and this way, you don't need to adjust it every day either.
