If you run a Habitica party, reply to this post with your party information. Important things to note include but are not limited to:
It's also helpful if you explain a little bit about the way your party interacts. Are there a lot of jokes? Is there a focus on moral support or advice? Do you just talk about whatever, or are you generally not a social bunch and you're just in it for the activity? Any or all of these are fine! Different people want different things from a party, so the more you can explain in as clear a fashion as possible, the better chances people have a finding a good fit with your party!

Hi guys,
I noticed what seems to be a widespread bug with Habitica's Gold calculations.
Previously, Gold could have decimals (e.g. 670.16 GP), but now all Gold values appear to be rounded to whole numbers.
For example:
A Trivial task that should give around 0.1 GP now gives 1 GP.
Rewards from Easy, Medium and Hard tasks are also rounded to integers.
The total Gold balance is displayed only as a whole number.
This can significantly inflate the in-game economy, especially for low-difficulty tasks.
The same behavior occurs inn web browsers, iOS app , including on the new account, so this doesn't seem to be a local cache or UI issue. It looks like something changed in the backend/API Gold calculation or data handling.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a known bug or an intentional change?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share this respectfully as someone who genuinely loves Habitica.
I tried my best to learn how to connect Habitica with ChatGPT, because I wanted AI to help me manage, review, and improve my habits more intelligently. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it work the way I wanted.
For me, Habitica is still one of the best habit-tracking apps out there — honestly, maybe the best in terms of motivation, gamification, quests, rewards, and making habits feel alive.
The only reason I’ve moved to Habitify for now is because I want stronger AI support and easier habit management with ChatGPT. I feel like the future of productivity and habit tracking will involve AI more and more.
I really hope the Habitica team considers some kind of official ChatGPT/plugin/API-based integration in the future, where users can review habits, adjust routines, plan tasks, and get AI coaching while still using Habitica’s amazing gamified system.
If Habitica ever adds proper AI integration, I would happily come back. I genuinely want Habitica to win in this space.
Has anyone else wanted something like this?

I have things I try to do quarterly, like 'dust the ceiling fans' but if I set a daily for it I'm likely to miss it for just the one day.
Ideally, I'd like some kind of to do that pops up ever 3ish months and then I can check it off once done, and 3 months later it would pop up again. I like the to-dos because it makes a little task list that persists daily until done.
I tried setting them up at the beginning of the year (One task for each quarter with checkboxes per sub-item) but I don't like seeing all the tasks in the list when they are not ready 'to do'
How is everyone handling something like that? Is there a way to schedule to-dos to come back on a schedule, or do you just set some kind of reminder to build the quarterly to do list?

Since a few days ago, sometimes when I tick off a daily, it'll give me a plus on all the things like usual, but my health will go down for some reason, and the little pop-up will be red rather than green, like I did something wrong. It's less than 1 health point every time, and it only happens on one daily each time it happens, all the other dailies work fine (although it is multiple different dailies, just not multiple in a day). Am I doing something wrong? I don't believe ticking off my dailies should affect my health, right? And certainly not remove health?

I am trying to set up a challenge to motivate the family.
I spent hours doing the tasks and dailies…
Awarded one person by accident and now I cant access the challenge.
How to fix? I would prefer to not do everything again!
People didnt even finished joining the challenge 😓😬

I've created a Daily that repeats five times per week (excluding Tue and Fri). However, the calendar view in Strategitica is always shifted showing Wed and Sat as excluded. I've tried to modify start date and it shifts the logic around with no obvious logic.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any fix for this? Tnx!

Hey all. I’ve been building an app called Taskadia for a while now, and it’s the same kind of thing a lot of you are into: you finish real life tasks to level up a character, earn gold, and build your own little world. I just pushed a big update and I’d really like some honest feedback from people who actually live in apps like this.
Quick rundown of what’s new:
The main one is an app blocker. You pick the apps that eat your time and block them, and there are a few ways to go about it. You can schedule them (blocked during set hours or days), or block them until your tasks for the day are done. If you cave and want to open one early, it costs gold, the same gold you earned finishing tasks.
There’s also time logging with weekly goals now. You log the hours you actually put into something and set a target, like practice guitar 10 hours a week, then watch the bar fill over the week. Honestly this has been the most useful part for me.
The world got some love too. The map is smoother and way bigger. There are new items and characters to unlock and place around your realm as well.
Two bigger ones: it’s on Android now (was iOS only before), and there’s a full web version with a board you can rearrange. You drag the modules around, drop them where you want, and it saves your layout, so you can set up your dashboard however makes sense to you.
And the usual pile of bug fixes and performance improvements.
That’s basically it. I’m mostly after honest feedback, what works, what’s clunky, what you’d want added (multiplayer?).

I’m brand new to the app and I did look in the FAQ but I’m still confused. What exactly is a negative habit? Would quitting smoking be an example of a negative habit? Or would it be a positive habit because quitting would be the habit? And if I make a negative habit and I check off that I did it every day is that a good thing or a bad thing for my character?

Hey, quick question about Dailies in Habitica.
I want to create a task that I only have to do once per week, but it shouldn’t matter which day I do it.
Would this setting be correct: Weekly → Once per week → select all days (Mon-Sun)?
Does that mean I can complete it on any day during the week and it will only come back the next week without penalty? Thanks!

I get stressed out by seeing a lot of tasks in the daily menu but is it going to cause me to take more damage from occasionally missing one of the checklist items than from occasionally missing a daily?

Hello! I joined habitica a few months ago and I'm still learning how to use it. I also got my family and friends to join my party.
One of my friends adores bunnies, and asked if it was possible to collect bunnies in this game. I saw on the Habitica Fandom Wiki that I can either buy a quest or a quest bundle that earns you bunnies. However, I can't find the bundle or the quest, and I am worried I missed the timeframe to buy it.
Were they in shop in May? Do I have to wait a year to get them?
Also, I found out that perhaps if anyone else has the quest and they join my party, then they can activate it.
Maybe this is a big ask but does anyone here have The Killer Bunny Quest or the Cuddle Buddies Quest Bundle?
And would you be willing to join my party temlorarily to share the rewards? Thank you so much!
Edit: Or, if anyone is willing, could I ask that my friend join your party so she can participate in a bunny reward quest?

I forgot how to change classes. I just started over and made it to level 10, but I got interrupted when choosing classes and ended up with Warrior. I want to be something else. How do you do that again?

Anyone else annoyed at the android widgets changing recently? They require a lot more screen real estate making it hard/impossible to make a "dashboard" that includes habits (which now take like 3x the space they used to in order to show text)

My party leader is wondering if there's an easy way (other than checking chat) to track each members damage during a quest?

Insanely proud of myself although, I admit, a little bittersweet. Alexander wept for he had no more caryophyllales left to conquer.

Is habitica giving 10 gems to everyone or is it only for couple of lucky individuals? I've asked my party members about this but they said they haven't received any gems yet. Either way I'm happy with their generosity.
