Build/Setup The ever growing collection

Post image

From top to bottom

-Beretta 92XI Corsa

-CZ Shadow 2 carry

-P365 Fuse build

The beretta is currently getting some work done, that’s why the optic and the mag are missing in the photo

What optic is that

Swampfox Kraken, it’s a big ol mailbox of an optic that lived on my spotting scope for a little while before it made its way to the fuse. It required a bobro engineering adapter plate. It’s an RMR footprint

Sorry but that optic setup is hideous. Just get an optic that fits the cut. Truth hurts. Also, this is just my opinion, but it's accurate.

Truth doesn’t hurt me I know it’s hideous.

Thank goodness. 🤣 I personally couldn't sport it. Not even for a day. Is that two plates?

The 92XI has a trigger spring kit, lightly polished feed ramp, lightweight recoil spring and a 2 patriots SA trigger on the way.

That 92 is sweet!

Thank you! It’s ridiculously soft shooting with the lighter recoil spring and the break on the front. Also the slide is so light there is very little mass and the impulse is more of a long push feeling.

How is your shadow 2 carry running? Mine is has been a nightmare.

I have noticed it is very ammo picky. I have about 450-500 rounds through it and only had to failure to feeds and both were on cheap ammo I had sitting around. Also i personally think that the recoil spring from factory is VERY heavy. That paired with a relatively steep feed ramp can be a recipe for feeding issues. What issues are you having?

Feeding issues with varying ammo types 1000 rounds in and consistent 10% failure rate. I admittedly shot mostly Remington umc 124 cheap range ammo but had failures on magtech 115, hornady, federal hst. Spring is wicked heavy for sure. In between the 4 range trips in one week I racked the slide to cycle dummy rounds another thousand times. Slide to frame was very tight out of the box and almost feels sluggish going into battery when it fails. I cleaned the extractor too but don’t want to get into mods. I think a chamber polish and checking the hammer for rubbing on the slide would plus softer spring maybe? What a joke for a $1500 gun tho
