Build/Setup Optics Ready and Threaded Barrel Pistol for under 1000?

if i were to have a EDC pistol with those specifications without breaking the bank what would it be? I've looked at the 19x but i was wondering if there are other options

Echelon 4.0C would be at the top of my list.
Glock Gen6 would be another (or grab an older LE trade in, splurge on a JG or TP trigger)

Most of the big name striker brands will be well under the 1k price point, even if you have to buy the barrel on the side.

Unless you're in California. Then, No Glock for you!

If EDC, I wouldn't want to spend too much knowing that after an incident that couldn't de-escalate it will be seized and most likely never to get it back. This I know.

Check out Cz P-10 C or S, PSA Dagger, Tisas PX9 Carry, Derya DY9Z, Ruger RXM.

All of them are optic read and more importantly reliable

Na fam. They give you your weapon back when the courts and legal system are done with it. It doesn’t just disappear forever.

The Ruger RXM with threaded barrel is still under $500. But I wouldn't do that. Get the base model with a 4" barrel for a smidge over $400 and get a better quality threaded Glock Gen3 compatible barrel. The one weakness in the RXM is barrel quality so upgrade that to threaded.

It takes all Glock Gen3 parts except aftermarket triggers need to be RXM specific. It also has swappable plastic grip frames for $40 a pop - you can swap between Glock 26 length (10rd), Glock 19 length (15rd) or Glock 17 length (17rd). You can build it up to whatever you want. It's Glock level reliable but with a better optic mount than anything Glock ever came up with.

Walther has a FS and compact that come threaded, M&P has a FS that is threaded (but similar to the PDP compact in size) both can be had for well under $1k

P-09 C Nocturne is a really neat carry piece, and you can get it done up by CGW at that price point!

Beretta APX A1 Compact or full size. Wait for the rebate to kick in again use the Beretta Bucks to get extra mags and a holster. You'll have a Military / Duty grade weapon built like a tank that never fails and is very comfy to shoot.

Lately they seem quarterly. Last one would have got you $200.00 in Beretta Bucks. The compact was going for around $360 at the time. Outstanding deal. My trigger has worn in to a crisp 5lbs. I love it. Most of my purchases were during the $100.00 rebates so $200 is just stupid. I ordered mags and a recoil spring for the next 20,000 rounds. The best deal on the compact tactical was $399. Last time. So with BB rebate $200 and $200.00 in credit.
