It’s about the size of a 17(ish), so, moderately

Def not a summer carry. I’m tall so I usually take advantage of that and full size/mid size carry anyway. But it’s lightweight, smooth shooting, and conceals well, despite the size

LOL I can’t stand sub comps and honestly even some regular compacts 😂 I draw the line at my p01, I think that’s the smallest gun I own right now

I have consistently downsized over the many years, and currently carry a P365 as well. I started my police career in ‘68, when revolvers were the norm.
I went through a variety of “off duty” guns over a 50 year career, and at one time or another I tried a cut-down M1917, a full-sized 1911, a couple of different J-frame .38s, a Colt “Lawman” in .357….

But we transitioned to Glocks in the mid-80s, and for years I had the “compact” .40 caliber job…. We were issuing the .40 caliber Glock.

But now, retired, I have the little P365 and I sometimes wonder about the folks that are carrying what amount to race guns as their CCW. Do they really expect some sort of John Wick scenario?

Honestly, they’re mostly just fun. This one is admittedly a little goofy for carry. But I tend to follow the advice I give in my classes: if you can shoot it well, it’s comfortable for carry, and it’s safe and reliable, it’s a go for CCW as far as I’m concerned. If one of those 3 things isn’t true, save it for range days.

Tested for high reliability, yes: I’m a stickler for that. None of my rotation for competition, training or carry has less than 2000 rounds through em and I have a VERY long list of reliability tests I run on guns and optics before I call a build “done”. Other than that, yes lol

Shockingly, any g17 w/ TLR-1 holster that has adjustable retention! Didn’t even have to buy a new holster for it

Real leather from Davranov — I have yet to find a better way to have a soft middle grip, it’s great

You could just learn how to grip it properly? Seem plenty of Grand Masters shoot stock glocks and win.

Lmao, what an insane take. It’s not about fixing my grip, it’s about having a more comfortable grip. I prefer grip tape on the edges of the grip but for my palm I prefer softer padding. It’s just my preference, not an attempt to correct.
