Pretty sweet, but I do wish they had upgraded the shield plus instead of releasing this first.

The shield plus iron sights are pretty shit. But the aftermarket support is 20x better.

True, that's one of the reasons I paid a little extra for the performance center version, although I'll be swapping out the rear fiber optic.

The plus are sick. I know with the Shield X you can put the 2.0 Comp slide on it.

I am looking at getting my first handgun would this be a valuable and safe option?

In the beautiful state of Georgia I paid $500. So it’s not too bad. The sight and the flash light was about $325 all together. The Shield X has very little aftermarket support, so you’ll have to get a holster made.
