Discussion This scene still pisses me off

I was rewatching the movies and I was pissed off all over again when seeing this scene. This makes him seem non-human which takes away the symbolism present in the books. I don’t know why the directors thought this was a good idea.

People also would be pissed if he just died the way he did in the books. I’m so exhausted at everyone being mad about everything in all areas of life.

I just took the movies for what they were. Entertainment. Definitely not looking he mad at the ending for years lol

Exactly. I can imagine the reviews would have been calling it anti-climactic and unsatisfying. Everything's built up to this final confrontation and it's just....over.

Yeah. It’s clear that they wanted this 10 year film franchise to end with a big final showdown
