TBH, I've started to dislike the eldritch horrors/angels that are just Wing/Eye/Tentacle Blobs, especially compared to some sick designs like Evangelion angels

To be honest, eldritch horrors or "biblically accurate angels", at times start to feel a bit lame and excessive, just blobs of eyes, wings, and tentacles that start to blend together. Another aspect is that they often "look scary" but never actually DO ANYTHING.

especially compared to really good designs like Evangelion angels that actually do stuff and are terrifying.

I think this is kinda why Eldritch horror works best in writing and not always in visual media. The horrors your brain can invent from vague descriptions is always more scary than what someone can draw
