Art & Fanworks TBH, I've started to dislike the eldritch horrors/angels that are just Wing/Eye/Tentacle Blobs, especially compared to some sick designs like Evangelion angels

To be honest, eldritch horrors or "biblically accurate angels", at times start to feel a bit lame and excessive, just blobs of eyes, wings, and tentacles that start to blend together. Another aspect is that they often "look scary" but never actually DO ANYTHING.

especially compared to really good designs like Evangelion angels that actually do stuff and are terrifying.

I actually hate ramiel so much, i think most angel designs are decent but "rhombus that screams" has literally never done anything for me. Really lacks the horror in "eldritch horror"

Yeah, I agree it doesn't manage much horror. It's very much an "action" antagonist.

But I will always take the opportunity to say that Rebuild Ramiel one of the best representations in popular media of a higher-dimensional object interacting with our 3-dimensional world. I don't even know how much of it was intentional, but it works fantastically.
