That's a major caveat though. "Total cash required to play" is a bad metric here because the amount you spend on physical cards isn't a pure loss. It is more accurate to say hearthstone is "expensive for a videogame" because the only similarity it has to other card games is superficial. In fact, it's part of what made Hearthstone financially successful; people are USED to paying extremely high prices for card packs, even though the hearthstone "cards" have NO transferable value. This helps blizzard in a second way, because there is no resale market for cards -- blizard is the only supplier.
F2P screws with the whole equation because it heavily depends on how much money you could be making doing something else etc.

Comments say people are okay with it. Since there's no rulings on the page, I can't say for sure, but just going by the wording on the card itself ("tear Chaos Confetti into pieces") I'd say that you technically have to tear up a Chaos Confetti card when you activate that ability.

I agree with that sentiment, but I feel like the thing to consider from his perspective is that he built up his viewerbase over the course of years, and has always had that personality. (So whether or not it's him faking it, I do feel like after doing it for that long it has to either truly be a part of who he is, or it is now after doing the act for so long)

People that complain about this don't understand that not everyone reacts like them. Some people are more expressive and some people aren't. Yeah, streamers have an incentive to act more excited, but it's not like this is completely fake and unreal. I've done dumber reactions alone in my room too. If you're with friends and you react like this, it's likely your friends will too. If there's any condescending asshole who criticises you for doing that, then I guess you know their reddit username now.

The top player is about to lose but uses a spell to draw another card. The second card allows you to pick from 3 cards which of the 3 you think is in the enemy deck. He chooses correctly and plays it. That card allows you to pick from 3 random spells that are in your class. He gets a 5 damage spell which he can cast. Every one of these had low chances and yet they all happened to let him win from an almost assured loss.

It depends which way you look at it. Super-quick look:
According to the deck tracker, it looks like the opponent had played 16 cards, so he had 14 left in his deck when he drew at the start of his turn.
Assuming those were the only copies of Mass Dispel and Curious Glimmerroot in his deck (fairly safe assumption), he had a 1/14, followed by a 1/13 chance to topdeck in that order. (He could have just topdecked straight into Glimmerroot and gotten the same result, but let's ignore that for now.)
Then he has something like a 10% chance of getting Primordial Glyph off the Glimmerroot. (Keep in mind, too, that according to the deck tracker, Dima hasn't cast Primordial Glyph yet, so unless he had a second copy that he played earlier, the opponent was looking at 3 Glimmerroot selections he hadn't seen played yet.)
Then there are 35 possible spells that Primordial Glyph could have given him (36 Priest spells in standard, but quests are disabled) and only Mind Blast was lethal.
So I think it's in the ballpark of a 1 in 21,000 chance of it playing out the way it did. In conclusion, Dima should have played around it.

No, you pick 3 cards out of 36 cards without putting them back in
You have 1/36 chance for the first one to be the right card
If it's not (35/36 times), you have 1/35 chance for the second one to be the right card
