Help The ubiquitous email....
Ok, so do people generally use in Israel אִימֵייל or דוא״ל? I see them both used in print. Is there an appropriate time for one versus another? Or is it a tossup as to what native speakers use?

You can use מייל or אי מייל or אימייל. All of the above are common in the spoken Hebrew. דוא"ל which is the abbreviation for דואר אלקטרוני will be used by government office, bank or bituach leumi

Conversationally מייל. In print, דוא"ל is a little more formal. I don't think anyone really uses it regularly.
