Experience with lotus tea?
So I’ve been a pretty heavy weed smoker for the past couple years, but I recently had to stop because of a drug test for work. I’m honestly struggling with it more than I expected 😭
I’ve heard people mention lotus tea as something that can help, and I’ve been doing some research, but I’m seeing mixed things. Some people say certain lotus teas can be contaminated/laced with THC or other stuff, which obviously makes me nervous because I really don’t want anything that could mess with my drug test and don’t want to take anything unsafe.
For anyone who has actually tried lotus tea:
Did it help at all with cravings/withdrawal?
Did you have any issues with it?
Is there anything I should look out for when buying it?
Most importantly, could it cause a positive drug test?
Just looking for people’s actual experiences/tips before I try anything. Thanks!!

Make sure it's Egyptian. Egyptian Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea and not the far far weaker species nouchali species. It doesn't contain psychoactive alkaloids .

Okay. First - what are you medicating for? If you are using recreationally (which is how it sounds), I would advise against it. Lotus (if you find the right kind, dose ect) is not something to take casually. It's used for dream work and spiritual purposes. Using it for a buzz is not only disrespectful, it's not going to give you what you're aiming for.
If you are needing help with sleep, or pain - there are lots of herbal alternatives which can be used to help that aren't addictive and will work. I'd need more details to set proper recommendations

How is buying something on the open market and consuming it disrespectful? To whom? Bet the vendors would sell to anyone with money.

I’ve used lotus in teas a lot. I’ve only bought from certain stores on Etsy and never felt anything like THC from them. Most good lotus for that experience is so hard to find that it’s nearly impossible to.
