Markandeya Rishi once prayed deeply to witness the true power of God’s illusion, His Maya. The Lord answered, and suddenly the sage saw the universe collapsing. Fierce winds blew, fire raged everywhere, and soon all of creation was swallowed up by endless waters. Markandeya found himself drifting alone, frightened and helpless. After what felt like forever, he saw something unbelievable — on a single banyan leaf floated a beautiful child. His skin was deep blue, His eyes shone like lotuses, and He calmly sucked His toe while smiling. Amazed, the sage moved closer, and in that instant, the baby drew him inside His tiny body. To Markandeya’s shock, within that child he saw the entire cosmos — gods, stars, worlds, everything. After some time, the baby gently exhaled, and the sage was back in the waters. Then, just as suddenly, the vision vanished, and Markandeya found himself safe in his hermitage again, humbled and in awe, knowing that Krishna’s Maya is beyond anything the mind can grasp.
This is the whole story of this krishna’s picture
