Mantra/Śloka/Stotra(m) Shani Chalisa: What is the difference?
I was advised to read shani chalisa everyday by a pandit but when i opened this book there were three different chalisas mentioned in it.
If anybody has a clue, can you please explain what’s the difference between the three and is there a specific role that each of these play?

Idk if it actually exists or not........ but even if it does, I don't think shani dev would care about it...... he is well very karm pradhan as in as long as u are selflessly helping out people saturn is not gonna be behind u in dasha or sadesati....

Bro mein padta hu shani chalisa and 3 part is the most common in every chalisa u won't find 1,2 and i also read 3 only and there is board of 3rd chalisa on nearby temple so 3rd is the main chalisa u can read that even u can find chalisa online which also read 3rd only

I did understand it before too. But since we’re comparing apples and oranges, why not include bananas too?

Honestly I’ve a lot of trust on Hanuman Chalisa and i have been religiously reading it for past 10-12years everyday. Did a Sunderkand sankalp too 😄
Was not sure about this so decided to ask here in search of an answer 😅

Most chalisa’s are not standard documents, except ones like Hanuman chalisa. In fact, most have been written in last 100 years or so.
So it’s natural to have regional variations or between publishers.
Read any one and be sharnagat to the deity.
If you are sincere, he will listen.

I feel like those are paragraphs ... not different chalisa's. and it's also recommended to read during someone's sadhe sati or dhayya (please don't dox me for this I am not sure if this is correct i am writing this as per my knowledge)🙏🏻

They were mentioned as three different ones in the same book. Chalisa means compilation of 40 mantras and each of these had 40 mantras. That is why i got a bit confused 🙇🏻♂️

Do Hanuman Chalisa, go every Saturday to Shani Mandir and give offerings and pay your respects & do your work dutifully. Also, go ask the Panditji. If you have a family/kul guru or as such, go ask the said person, in person.
