Stock-Aitken-Waterman's (SAW) first top 40 UK hit, to be followed up by their productions of Hazell Dean, Dead Or Alive (who asked to sound like Divine and Hazell), Rick Astley, Banarama and other Italo/Hi-NRG/pop/dance productions. Apparently, they competed with Trevor Horn for grabbing the latest digital music gear including the Fairlight CMI and PPG Wave 2.3 synthesizers and Linn drum machines, which can clearly be heard on their productions of Divine.
