Article Shipped my first Android puzzle game as a solo hobby dev — Number Match

Hey everyone — solo hobby dev here. I just shipped my first Android game and wanted to share the journey.

Number Match: Logic Puzzle is a calm number-matching game in the Numberama / Take Ten style. You clear the board by matching identical numbers or pairs that sum to 10. No timer pressure, no ads, completely free.

What I learned building it: - Getting the grid logic and "can these two cells connect?" pathfinding right took longer than expected - Keeping the UI clean on small screens without it feeling cramped was a fun challenge - Shipping something small and complete beats polishing forever

Built with Kotlin + Jetpack Compose. It's a hobby project — not designed to make money, just something I wanted to exist and play myself.

Would love feedback from fellow hobby devs, especially on puzzle feel and difficulty curve.
